是怎麼開始寫《野蠻人入侵》的？
How I started writing Barbarian Invasion?

2019年6月，天畫畫天在上海電影節公布了這項計畫。我當時還沒有什麼想法，只是已經有了一個片名，叫作《我只要你愛我》。
In June 2019, the Heaven Pictures B2B project was announced in Shanghai. I didn’t have any idea about what story I want to make, I only have a title then, called “I Just Want You to Love Me”.

上海之後我去北京找朋友。在宋莊和王宏偉吃飯。我記得是在米納餐廳。王宏偉說他要拍一部動作片，讓我當女間諜。王宏偉總是有很多計畫。
After Shanghai, I made my usual trip to Beijing to meet up some friends. I remembered I had lunch with Wang Hongwei in Mina’s Restaurant. Wang Hongwei was proposing to make an action film, and he asked me to play the lead, a spy. Wang Hongwei always have a lot of project ideas.

“那你得讓我先去受間諜訓練，”我跟他開玩笑說，“不如我來拍那個幕後花絮。一個偽紀錄片：關於一個不靠譜的獨立電影導演，要拍間諜片。找了一個過氣的女演員，讓她受訓三個月。後來果然項目黃了，但是女演員竟然去參加綜合搏擊。找到了自己。”
”Sure, but first you have to send me to do some spy training,” I was joking with him, “How about this, I will make a mockumentary about you making this film, about a unreliable independent filmmaker, offer a lead role to an over the peak actress, sending her to 3 months martial art training. In the end the project didn’t happen, but she join a MMA fight, and found herself.”

我自己說著，覺得這個故事比王宏偉的好。“我讓你來演這個不靠譜的導演吧。”
As I was making up the story, I indeed like my story better than Wang’s story, and I offered him, “I will let you play this unreliable Indie film director, how about that?”

一個月後，我就帶著一個攝影，一個副導，一個錄音，去泰國普吉島拍攝。
In one month, I brought a cameraman, an assistant director, and a soundman to Thailand to start shooting…..

我找不到宋莊的照片，這是在香港。原來我很常找王宏偉吃飯。聽他胡侃。I can’t find the photo of us having lunch in SongZhuang. But here is a photo of us in Hong Kong. I didn’t realise I have lunch with him everywhere.

後來還在戲裡調侃了自己一下：很多偉大的靈感，都是來自於愚蠢的笑話。
I did mock myself about this in the film, where the Director Roger said, “Great ideas often come from stupid jokes.”
