Year Without A Summer

Fei, my second AD called my film the "lunatic film".

Well, first of all I am crazy. And then I have a crazier cinematograher. We sort of believe we can light up our sea scene with moon.

But it was crazy to wait for the right moment. And we have to rush many scenes in the five nights. Or else we have to wait for another month. Basically, we got most of the timing wrong.

In the end of the day, when we look at the rushes, we thought it looks like something shot in studio.

Yes, it was like we have a studio with a big water tank, and a painted night sky as background.

My cinematographer is not happy about it.
