Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival holds Golden Horse Film Academy for the very first time. The targeting group will be young filmmakers worldwide who make Chinese-language films. The plenary session will take fifteen days with accommodation and meals. (All non-local participants will receive subsidy for one round-trip air ticket)
The Academy will invite world-class filmmakers to give lectures, including HOU Hsiao-Hsien, TU Duu-Chih, Mark LEE Ping-Bing, Hirokazu KORE-EDA, and Ang LEE. Also a local film crew will be organized to assist participants from all over the world for making films here in Taiwan during the session. Anyone who is 18 yrs or older AND has taken part in at least two short films or one feature film is welcome to sign up. The application begins on August 15th. Please follow the link below:
