Winter 2009 Feature-film Production Grants
San Francisco, CA - October 16, 2008 - In its continuing effort to promote original filmmaking by individuals from around the world, the Global Film Initiative is pleased to announce a call for the Winter 2009 cycle of its feature-film production grants program. Applications will be accepted from October 15, 2008 to January 15, 2009, and decisions will be announced in March 2009.

Astro Kirana Short Film Awards is a short film competition organized by Astro Kirana for ASPIRING Malaysian filmmakers. It is part of Astro's long term vision and commitment to nurture up and coming talents in film-making by providing a platform for them to showcase their creation.

In conjunction with The Annexe's ART FOR GRABS XMAS SPECIAL, new independent movies will be screened & discussed!
