Boracay International Co-Production Meeting   by admin

August 17, 18 and 19, 2007 - Boracay Island, Philippines

Set on a tropical holiday island, and focus on south and east asia filmmakers. In the past, there are less than 10 projects participate in each meeting, so the chance to get a prize is fairly high. But the drawback is you need to cover your own traveling to Manila, as the organiser only cover your flight to Boracay Island, and the accomodation. Another note is the organiser had histories of changing dates in the last minute, due to the climate, both of the island and of the Philippine politic.

The deadline for submission is June 24, 2007.

Some of the Malaysian projects particiapted:

LOVE CONQUERS ALL, Tan Chui Mui
IN WHAT CITIES DOES IT LIVES, Liew Seng Tat
STRANGER, Charlotte Lim

The 4th Boracay Co-Production Meeting in cooperation with the Hubert Bals Fund, Film Development Council of the Philippines & the Cinemanila International Film Festival.
