The director as well as the cast will be present at the Q&A session.

After the box-office success movie "Hysteria", James Lee is back with his art-house gangster movie "Call if You Need Me", which had won a silver award in Asian Digital Competition at the Hong Kong International Film Festival this year. Unlike Lee's previous works in the Trilogy of Love, "Call if You Need Me" is about brotherhood. Among the cast are the indie-movie regular Pete Teo as lead, as well as Sunny Pang, the Singaporean Indie-movie actor. Sunny Pang had been nominated as best actor in the recent Singapore International Film Festival with "Lucky Seven", a compilation of seven short films made by seven film makers.
"Call if You Need Me" had gained attention from numerous film festivals and was hailed as a testimony to the strength of the Malaysian new wave. It's also produced by the renowned filmmaker Tan Chui Mui.
Tan Chui Mui is known for her successful first feature film "Love Conquers All". In 2008, while developing her second feature films, she had this project of making a short film every month. She managed to make 7 short films, and she called them "All My failed Attempts". In spite of having been named "failed attempts", this compilation has been travelling to many international film festivals. The award-winning short film "Everyday Everyday"(Grand Prix in Clermont-Ferrand Short film Festival) is one of the seven short films.

Both award-winning titles "Call if You Need Me" and "Everyday Everyday" will be showing in Los Angeles Film Festival next month. However the local indie-movie lovers don't have to go so far to watch the films. Both the titles won't be releasing in cinemas, but the films will be screened in venues like film clubs, colleges and schools. The screening tour will begin in May at several venues in collaboration with Kelab Filem Seni, the Annexe Gallery and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall. More screenings are planned and will be announced at the official website: www.dahuangpictures.com. Any requests for the screening collaboration are welcome.
Da Huang Pictures will also launch the DVD of "Call if You Need Me" at the end of May and "All My Failed Attempts" in June, get latest update at www.shop.dahuangpictures.com.
