Tan Chui Mui is going to share her filmmaking experience with the audience in Taiwan. Her first stop will be at National Sun Yat-sen University, Kaohsiung, speaking in the Diaspora, Film and the Sinophone Asia Conference on 4th March.

On the 5th March, she will have a conversation with the Taiwanese director Guo Nan Hong who is highly respected for his martial arts movies in the 70s.

Mui will have another seminar at Taiwan National University of Arts on the 10th March as well. She will share her filmmaking experience with the students of film department after the screening of her latest award-winning short films - 'All My Failed Attempts'. The famous film critics Wen Tien Xiang is the host of the seminar.



Malaysian cinema is not totally strange to the audience in Taiwan. In fact, many films of Malaysian directors had been shown in the local film festivals there; including Yasmin Ahmad, Liew Seng Tat, James Lee and Tan Chui Mui.
