Malaysian films are getting more and more international acclaim at film festivals; there are two film events focus on the cinematic products of our country, and we, Da Huang Pictures is proud of being a part of the carnival.

This year the showcase of Sinema's SinemAsian series on South-East Asian Film will draw upon the indie film scene from us. The showcase called Filem Bagus, a showcase of Malaysian Independent Films from Da Huang Pictures. This showcase will run consecutively for 3 days, from the 27th of February until the 1st of March. They will show 6 films which directed by Da Huang's directors. James Lee is going to meet the cinema lovers at Singapore.

Malaysia's New wave goes even further to far far away in Latin America!

The International Film Festival of Mexico City-FICCO celebrates its 6th anniversary this year, is the biggest international film festival in Mexico. After six years showing the best independent cinema from all around the world, FICCO is going to put an eye on Malaysia this year. Eleven films from Amir Muhammad, Liew Seng Tat, James Lee, Tan Chui Mui, Woo Ming Jin, Azharr Rudin, Yasmin Ahmad, Ho Yuhang, and Khoo Eng Yaw will be shown during the festival. Amir, Seng Tat and Eng Yow is on their way to charm the Mexican.
