FITP was screened for the 2nd time in Berlin Film Festival today(12th). There are 3 more screenings to come. Liew Seng Tat is there at the festival pretending to represent the film but all he wanna do is just to fondle Madonna's ass while she does the red carpet.
Screening FITP under GENERATION is a whole new experience. First of all, they assigned a female translator who voiced over the entire film in German on top of the original dialogues, so that the kids would understand what the fuck is going on in the film. HAHA! I just said fuck. It was amusing because she played all the characters in the film. I regretted not making the dog barks. I'm really curious how a dog barks in German.
What more amusing during the screening were the kids. They cheered furiously before the film began and did the same after the film. During the screening, they walked in and out of the theatre. One by one they stumbled upon stairs in the dark. Their reactions were marvelous too. For example, when Ma Li Ahh falls down with a glass, they went HAHAHAHAHA! Then when they realsied that he cuts himself with the broken glass, they went OOOOOOHHHHH!! Their reactions were always exaggerated. I wonder whether they had space muffins for breakfast.

The Q&A session was intense. It was so intense it made my armpits sweat. The kids had a thousand questions to ask. Out of the thousand, 400 were "What is the message of the film?"
