We did some test shots before beginning what ended up being a day long shoot. After some deliberation and a weeks of lepaking, Seng Tat and i finally agreed on an idea for the poster's key art shoot. The "idea" was to capture Ming Wei & Zhi Jiang horsing around as superheros. The other idea was to shoot them hang from a street lamp post.

这拍摄整整用了一天的时间。但在这之前，我们做了一些测试。这是我和城达经过一番商议和一周的游荡过后，千辛万苦才想出来的海报主题。那就是要捕捉明椳和子江扮成超人的搞笑画面。而另外一套就是拍摄他们悬挂在灯柱上。

Ming Wei & Zhi Jiang were as usual, brilliant and unnervingly professional. The bottom (larger) picture reminded me of Titian's "Bacchus and Ariadne".

明椳&子江像往常一样 - 拥有卓越和令人紧张不安的专业。下图(较大)让我想起Titan的"Bacchus and Ariadne".

"2 Weeks Earlier"
Being the responsible adult that he is, Seng Tat wanted to do a pre pre shoot test that mainly involve him leaping off a 45 degree slope at P.J SS/2. You see, the original idea for the poster was to have Ming Wei & Zhi Jiang & a rat, leaping off a flight of staircase in an attempt to rescue a falling mannequin. We concluded, from the test, that the idea was not possible (or safe) for the time being. I'm thinking, maybe Mui's or James's next feature.

"2星期前"
身为负责任的大人，城达先做了一个测试，就是跨越P.J. SS/2的一个45度的斜坡。其实，本来的构思是要明椳&子江&一只老鼠，跳越式地飞下楼梯去拯救一名下降的人体模型。因为时间的关系再加上测试的结果，证明这个构思是不可能(或安全)的。或许，翠梅或添興在做下次的特写是能用得着。

The game plan was to shoot the boys individually and then composite them together later.But the boys were doing such a great job we didn't have to. Also i have a sinking feeling that i'll fxxk up if we do composites.

原本计划是要单独拍两个男孩的照片，然后把它们合成。可是他们所做的已经超出了我们的要求。我突然有一种感觉，那就是如果我们把照片合成的话，反而被搞砸了。

Other shots from what we called the "Ballerina Kung Fu Will Rock You" set that didn't make the final cut. We also manage to do other sets like "More Prancing And Less Dancing" & "Pink Dracula vs Shouting Monk" & "2 Boys Gone Mad From Too Much Instructions" before calling it a day. It was a good day.

我们并没有删减那一套所谓的"摇滚你的功夫芭蕾".在结束之前，我们也尝试拍摄其它主题的海报，例如: "多一点腾跃，少一点舞蹈" & "粉红伯爵对垒呐喊和尚" & "承受太多指示而发疯的两个男孩"。这算是美好的一天吧。。。

Li Ahh and Li Ohm grow up motherless. They are neglected by their father Sui, a workaholic who spends the bulk of his time mending broken mannequins in his workshop. While he shuts himself out from the world, the two brothers roam the streets, get into fights and other troubles in school but for all they want is just love and to be loved.
