FLOWER IN THE POCKET is passed with 4 cuts. Director Liew Seng Tat had decided not to appeal because he says it's a waste of time and money. But we think he's just plain lazy.

It is scheduled to be release in GSC E-Cinemas ( Mid Valley and One-Utama) on 20th December, and in GSC E-Cinema ( Penang Gurney Plaza) on 27th December.

Here's the report in English:

1. During the scene of a chinese boy squatting and defecating, erase his line 'My Malay language exercise book' where he asks another Chinese boy to rip off a page from the book for wiping his buttock. Erase the English subtitle of the same line too.

2. Erase the obscene dialogue 'Like your fucking face' between the two Chinese men in the mannequin factory.

3. Erase the Azan(call for prayers for muslims) in the background while the two Chinese boys descending the hill while holding the puppy.

4. Cut and shorten the scene where the two boys are bathing, especially the bit where one of the boy's erection is visible.
