All My Failed Attempts

It is now July and the residency is ending.

I think I am too tired of answering, "No, I didn't finish my script in Paris," so instead I want to say, "No, I made a short film in Paris." It would a good distraction from talking more about the script I had never finish writing.

The short film would be something for my stay in Paris, and I would get two of the resident in Cinefondation to play in this short film. Nadav LAPID from Israel and Rususdan CHKONIA from Georgia. The cameraman is YAO Zejun, a film student from China.

Now the film looks like it would be fall into student-film-ish. Which I always feel more comfortable with. Working with friends with very little experience, and working with little equipments.

Nadav have a film release in Paris now called "Emile's Girlfriend". So I took half of his title. The short film title would be "NOBODY'S GIRLFRIEND".

I'll be shooting on 11th and 12th July.
